Andrew Wu
General Manager and Board Member
Mr Andrew Wu is the General Manager of Dagong Europe. He is appointed as a Member of the Board of Directors in April 2017. Andrew is a well-rounded financial services professional with a wealth of global management experiences and extended business networks across the continents. Andrew possesses extensive working experiences in retail, corporate and investment banking across Asia, Europe and Middle East, as well as in-depth knowledge of China's capital market. Prior to joining Dagong, He had a long career at HSBC: he was HSBC's Director of Financial Institutions Group based in Hong Kong, covering the international banks and securities clients for HSBC. Prior to that, he was based in Beijing as the global relationship banker for Chinese clients in the infrastructure sector, facilitating their outbound activities and the Belt and Road projects. Before Beijing, he led the establishment of HSBC's first China Desk in Dubai and was responsible for covering all Chinese multinationals in the Middle East and North Africa, with the additional responsibility of driving the region's RMB internationalisation. Before Dubai, he was a retail banker and manager in Jersey, responsible for HSBC's retail banking network in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man. He started his career with HSBC in Shanghai, as a relationship manager for banking clients in the retail and consumer brands sector. Andrew holds a Master Degree from Warwick Business School, University of Warwick in the UK. He is bilingual in Chinese and English and speaks basic Arabic.

Carola Saldìas
Head of Credit Rating
Ms Carola Saldias joined Dagong Europe in December 2012 as Head of the Financial Institutions Analytical Team and was appointed as Head of Credit Rating in June 2018. She began her career as a credit analyst at Fleet Boston Financial Group, before spending seven years as a Director of Financial Institutions at Fitch Ratings, Chile. She then worked at Standard Life in Edinburgh, Scotland, a leading long-term savings and investments company operating internationally. She holds an MBA from the University of Edinburgh Business School. Carola was born in Chile, is native in Spanish and speaks fluent English and French.

Gabino Tuero
Head of Business Development
Mr Gabino Tuero joined Dagong Europe in September 2014. He is appointed Head of Business Development in March 2017. He joined Dagong Europe from Credit Suisse where he was Vice President of the External Asset Manager department since 2012, being the main point of contact with Iberian and LATAM clients from the Luxembourg office. Prior to that, he was Senior Relationship Manager at Nordea Asset Management, covering Iberia and the LATAM markets. Before relocating to Luxembourg, he was Business Development Director, Financial Institutions at Aviva Investors in Spain, responsible for development relationships mainly with institutions in the Spanish, Portuguese and Andorran markets. He also spent eight years in the marketing department of Fidelity Investments, primarily involved in online and product and market research functions, supporting the generation of key sales opportunities. He holds a degree in Marketing Research (ITM) and Business Administration (E-2) from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE) in Madrid, Spain.
